Setting Up the System
Once the system has been onboarded and the controllers are speaking to one another, you can begin to configure the system for your particular needs, select a time and weather source, and more.
This section covers the core configuration of your hardware and environmental data:
- Web App Overview - Accessing the app and understanding the interface.
- Main Display - Configuring the display and enable touch capabilities.
- Auto-Dimming - Managing brightness for bedroom use.
- Lights - Controlling the RGBW Bulb and LED Strip.
- Clock and Time - Setting time sources, fonts, and colors.
- Temperature and Weather - Configuring outdoor environmental data.
- Touch Sensors - Enabling and configuring the independent touch sensors.
đź’ˇ Configuration Logic
It is important to understand that the system manages two distinct “sets” of settings:
- Default Settings: Saved values loaded when the system first starts up or reboots.
- Active Settings: Values currently in use (which may be temporary until the next reboot).
This distinction is covered in more detail in the Web App Overview.
